  Many famous places receive a lot of guests but tend to be more greedy because of the captive audience, I'm delighted to say that Smiths use it as an opportunity to hone their craft to perfection instead.
  Every aspect of our stay for our wedding was perfect from start to finish.
  Really nice rooms, friendly and professional staff, a good menu without extortionate prices and a really wonderful service from all of the wedding planners.
  If you are getting married at the famous blacksmiths shop it is ideally situated if you are going to walk.

  A very nice hotel with good sized and well equipped rooms. There's a good selection of food and drink at the bar. Being next to the motorway it's surprisingly quite but benefits from good links.

  We stayed at Smiths for 2 nights for our friends wedding there.
  The hotel is impressive as you drive in and the staff greet you in a friendly, professional and polite manner.
  Check in was easy and finding the room straight forward.
  We had booked the deluxe double which was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfy.
  Food in the bar was delicious (Try the steak, ale and haggis pie!) and the breakfasts were equally as good.
  The reception after the wedding was superb. Food was great, bar staff fast and friendly and the room looked brilliant.
  We would stay here again in a hear beat if near Gretna.
